[a week in photos] First week of Oct 2013

The first week of Oct has arrived. And the semester is here (Oh, no!)

I am not so ready (and never will be), but life still goes on.

Just enjoy it. We are still young (really???). Breath and eat, this is my general philosophy in life.

And my mom always says “Do not forget to have breakfast”.

Word of wisdom, really. She should win a nobel peace prize. 🙂

Start with this video: “Love Elevator”.

I think each floor represents each step in life that we have walked pass.

Always love the work of Wisut Ponnimit; one of the best in Thai modern day artists.

First day at School with Pink jeans. Pink is my real Black, haha.

รูปภาพ

One of my dream is to visit Tokyo Dome. I went there the day that Giants had a battle match with Swallows.

รูปภาพ

Life is about High and Low, and the Middle (class). ^^

รูปภาพ

Professor who teaches Economics said that Economics is about … choices that we made.

Hey! Which one should I invest? ><

รูปภาพ

Study hard? … No way. ^^ My default mode is stupid and foolish (and most of the time busy trying to be lazy :D)

รูปภาพ

Random and then found! The love of my (teenage) life.

รูปภาพ

Order Kilimanjaro Espresso at Yanaka Coffee (one of the best!) and then ask for sugar and milk.
Hey! I am stupid, I know. Coffee lovers should not destroy Espresso that way I have just done. ><”

And I will finish the week with these … stuffs.
Hey! I just want to be nice with Capitalist-Liberal Society!!!

[a week in photos] Last week of September 2013

Finally, it is the last week of sweet September! And official Autumn is here. Tons of things happened this week, including moving to new room, congratulating for those who graduated, celebrating with good food, meeting with a childhood friend, and shopping for Autumn (yeah :D).

None of these includes “Studying”. Totally me.

Autumn is officially here. Hello. Please be kind to me.

[a week in photos] a fifth week in Japan

Not much happened. Just finished a preparation class. Relaxed at the museums. Did shopping (Yeah!) and cook Thai food (finally). All are below here. 🙂

Let’s begin with the food!

Lunch at Hongo Campus’s Cafeteria. I really love this chicken steak

รูปภาพ

This softcream (with special syrup and more) is 600 yen. A bit high price, but the taste is unbeatable. Number 1 in my heart now. At Yanaka Market.

รูปภาพ

On Friday 20th of Sep, there was a big full moon shining in Japan. Here was the full moon besides Tokyo Sky Tree.

รูปภาพ

On my way home, I found this ceremony that local people celebrated the full moon.

รูปภาพ

On Saturday, I joined foreign students trip (with friends from Chiba University) for visiting museums at Ueno park. This trip was formed by volunteers from Chiba prefecture. And the volunteers are all over 65 years old!!!

รูปภาพ

At “The Dawn of Japanese Art” exhibition. This pot is so beautiful.

รูปภาพ

Would you walk in this shoes?

รูปภาพ

One thing that wonders me is … how could they keep this color to be so colorful even these days? It was made many centuries ago.

รูปภาพ

I understand now how art can inspire fashion. I want to see this picture on designed long skirt now. It is gonna be a very gorgeous skirt!!!

รูปภาพ

Both colors are LOVE!

รูปภาพ

My friend said “Look at this pic. Women in whatever eras are good at gossip. It is feminine’s ritual for relaxation.”

Can’t agree more. LOL

รูปภาพ

And then we do a makeup. This is why Monsieur Dior can make huge money!

รูปภาพ

I found ingredients for Thai food at Ueno (Ameyokocho). Definitely heaven in Tokyo!!!

My friend and I tried this noodle at Ameyoko-cho, 980 yen. Soup comes with citrus.
Must try!

They were celebrating Full Moon around Yanaka Area.

รูปภาพ

Look at what I have bought! I can make Thai famous food called “Tom Yum” now. ^^

รูปภาพ

But first, I should start with something that is easy to make.
“Holy Basil stir-fried with shrimp”.
Nothing beats Thai food!

รูปภาพ

Next week official Autumn will arrive. I hope it will treat me kindly. Please, please, please.

[a week in photos] a fourth week in Japan

It has been a fourth week. Millions things happened. And I just love the “now” me now.

Time flies like a shooting star. I can’t just believe that I have already been in Japan for 3 weeks.

I went to a public library near my house and look who I have run into. 🙂

Insanely-good-looking Yunho & Changmin from Tohoshinki.

Friday 30th August, it’s an orientation day. Look what they have handed me. (sigh).

รูปภาพ

On a welcome reception, this professor gave a heart-warming speech to us. He told that when he went to further study in a foreign land for his first time, he achieved something rememberable. Guess?

…”I found my wife there.”…

Isn’t this melting you heart. LOL.

Such a good story teller he is.

รูปภาพ

This restaurant near my house serves a great noodle. You have to wait for a long line, but worth it.

รูปภาพ

The noodle I talked about. Look yummy, huh?

รูปภาพ

The preparation classes start on Monday, and Accounting has killed me since then.

[a week in photos] second week in Japan

Between 21 – 27 August of 2013. Here are the photos.

IMG_0295

Last Wednesday, I went to Jingu Stadium, a baseball field which Murakami found his inner voice to tell the world while watching the game between Swallows and Carps.

IMG_0277

Me while heading to buy a ticket. On Wed, there was a game between Swallows vs. Giants.

IMG_0309

Non-reserved seat in out-field ticket is 1,500 yen.

IMG_0368

During the day, I spent time exploring the power of liberal-capitalist world at Omotesando. Omotesando is lacated near Harajuku.

IMG_0350

This set of SK II is 30% off till the end of August! Be hurry!

IMG_0358

Harajuki is shining in the day light. ^^

IMG_0373

And then I headed back to the stadium. Met many huge crowed on the way who bought Beers and things to eat. You can bring food and drink to the stadium. Hooray!

IMG_0377

Murakami once said, he drank very cold beer and the watched the blue sky. And the rest is history…

IMG_0382

If you want to understand Japanese way of life, try to watch Baseball match.

IMG_0420

Foodie I cooked. Rice, Saba, and stir-fried green pea.

IMG_0426

I ordered Mocha but they served me the Americano. Anyway, this costs 500 yen.

IMG_0469

I went to the market in the evening and found this traditional dance. So fun.

IMG_0477

On Saturday, headed to west of Tokyo to join Hanabi. This is Oh, with her yukata, traditional Japanese dress.

IMG_0499

The magic of Hanabi is it can bring people together. period.

IMG_0506

With Yukiko-san, she invited us to her hometown to see Hanabi next to the Tama river.

IMG_0811

I really love this stair and secretly call it “Stairway to Stars”. ^^

IMG_0823

This Iced Latte is really great taste and good smell. Very recommend if you are in town.

IMG_0825

Normally, coffee in Tokyo costs around 400-600 yen. But at Yanaka Coffee Cafe, they cost not so expensive.

รูปภาพ

Third day. Between my Hongo campus to Ueno I found this club!

รูปภาพ

Did 2 km walking and then found this in the big city called Tokyo.

รูปภาพ

Somethings that annoying me is that I can’t read Japanese, but most of the items written only in Japanese. You will never know what you are about to buy. (sigh)

รูปภาพ

Pasta! 530 yen at Pronto Restaurant.

รูปภาพ

My first cook in Japan. Look yum?

รูปภาพ

On my fifth day, I made an appointment with Thai friend to see Tohoshinki’s Time Tour at Nissan Stadium. My friend is coming from Chiba, therefore we arranged to meet at JR Ueno … Park Exit.

But we have a secret code … We call it “Park Yoochun Exit”

Hehe.

รูปภาพ

At least 70,000 people here to see Tohoshinki.

รูปภาพ

We are at Nissan with the precious Bigeast black towel!!!

We are a tiny dust in the Universe who wants to support our beloved Tohoshinki. Sound tempting?

รูปภาพ

Dream comes true! I am finally here inside Nissan Staduim. Fangirling moment!

รูปภาพ

The souvenirs we get at the concert.

รูปภาพ

Look at this red ocean. Wonderful. Good job, Bigeast!

รูปภาพ

On Monday 19th, I met the agency to find an apartment in Tokyo. This place is really nice, next to Hongo campus, near a park, but too expensive.  We can’t have it all, right? (That’s life.)

รูปภาพ

Todai, Hongo campus. The place that I will spend 2 years time here.

รูปภาพ

7 a.m. Tokyo. Seems peaceful.

รูปภาพ

This bread is really well known for its good taste. I found it in Keio Department Store, Shinjuki, B floor.
